​THE PAINTER

​​​​​​​​Craig Sumner studied ceramics at the Royal College of Art and subsequently

enjoyed a successful  30 year career in design, co-founding SR Design Associated,

Madrigal ( Design ) Ltd., and The Screen Supply Company Ltd.

Craig is a self taught painter. Since his retirement from design in 1999 he has become committed and productive working predominantly in oils and watercolour

and drawing in pen and Indian ink.

Today Craig is multi award winning painter

who exhibits regularly in Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire as well as in London at The Royal Academy, the

Llewellyn - Alexander Gallery and the Mall Gallery.
